It seems there are life altering storms happening in our world every day. From tsunamis, to earthquakes, to hurricanes and tornados that literally displace people, places, and things. Many people experience destruction, devastation, financial hardship, health hardship, and some even death. Entire cities get wiped off the map, and some never recover. Add job loss, failing economies, and political strife to the mix and you can see why many walk away from homes, jobs, ministry, family, and even life.
God has spared you and given you grace to still be here. So, what do you have for Him to work with? You cannot rebuild with negativity in your heart and reminiscing the past. What are you looking forward to? What are you creating with the breath of The Great I Am speaking out to you?
Everything He spoke was good. He stepped into the darkness and said, “Let there be light.” The earth was torn up and He brought it all to order. He commanded what was already in the earth to come to the Light and manifest itself.
You may have been through storms and everything has been shaken and displaced. You may have lost friends and family too. Let me remind you that the God of Creation is ready to step into your situation and help you recover all … mind, body, and spirit.
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)
