This generation is called ‘Generation Z.’ A generation who is speaking and doing their own thing. A generation who does not know God.
The leadership in the church and in the home have dropped the ball. The church and parents have stopped teaching. Some were wounded or offended and left their positions to do their own thing. Many of them are partying right along with Generation Z. God is not pleased.
Our children don't have a clue what they are looking for. They don’t know what flow to get into, so they try a little bit of everything. They are like the children of Israel who forgot God in the wilderness. We must teach them the ways of God before they end up lost.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
I recently spoke on the subject, ‘Don’t Forget to Remember.’ On reminding all of us, in this season of closure and distancing, to remember our upbringing and life-altering memories. Don't forget God's solid commandments that are for our protection as well as our neighbors. Don't forget to be kind, even behind the masking in this pandemic. Don't forget to help a stranger while keeping yourself safe. Fear has people afraid of dying more than living.
Don't be labeled by the world. Carry His truth wherever you go. In a world that changes daily depending on who the leaders are, hold on to your faith by all means necessary!
One safe and solid place we all can operate from is … God is Love.
