God Has Need of You

God has called you out to be separated from just being ordinary. He's looking for His Extraordinary Self in you. When one is called for ministry, for service, they are separated out and hands laid on them. God says, “These are the ones I have chosen.” He separated Abraham to begin a nation. He spoke to the people of Israel and said, “Separate yourselves and sanctify yourselves unto me. Dedicate your life to me.”
Separation is a call. To call is to invite, cry out to, make a proclamation, live a certain way, to facilitate a need, to mention, to name, and to summons to a higher place. Separation comes whether you are just a young donkey tied to a post or a seasoned Roman full of wealth and power. The young donkey was tied to a post and had never had been ridden before, but Jesus rode the young donkey into Jerusalem where he was met by cheering crowds. Paul was the Roman who was persecuting Christians, but when God knocked him off his high horse, he surrendered to God’s calling. God had need of the young donkey. God had need of Paul. God has need of you.
God will call you out, separate and sanctify you for His glory. He's not just separating you from this world, but from sin. He will fill you with His salvation. He will separate you from poverty, sickness, despair, and hopelessness. He promises to supply all your needs. Now, He becomes your everything. Now, you know He is your total source because He has separated you for service.
Now, you are choosing to be separated and He has chosen you.
