People can get under your skin, but there is a deeper depth you must go to find your brilliance within. There is a one-of-a-kind diamond in you. Tell others to ‘mine’ their own business as you ‘mine’ yours. Yes, I said ‘mine’ because God has placed a gift, a treasure within you! You’ll have to break through some hardened ground but dig deep, under the surface … it's in there!
Many people who have gone through trauma in life will display a flawless finish on the surface. Depending on what they have experienced and by whom, underneath there are some cracks and rough areas. Rejection alone can throw you for a loop. If you do not deal with it, you will tolerate many things for love and acceptance. The desire for acceptance will allow the praise of people to drown out the voice of God. Your flesh will need to be satisfied so your spirit will be overruled by any decision that comes against satisfying your flesh. You must learn to overrule any man-made thoughts versus who God says you are. When you know who you are based on God's creation of you, you won't need people to please.
Know who to trust, after years of following and believing in what was perceived as truth. Know who to trust so you won't be trapped in layers of any man's lies because betrayal is another story.
Jesus wants to be your true friend who stays closer than a brother. God always kept the truth close to Him. He wants the best for you. He has already given it to you! Follow His way and truth.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)
